To make different from what is
Crap.
I feel like sometime in the past couple of months I should have taken a moment to get all oprah-y about how things change and change is good and let’s all celebrate evolution! But that’s the thing about change – it’s kind of a time suck.
Friday will be my last day at my job. I’ve decided to try working for myself. I’m looking for new writing projects and new challenges that I won’t find sitting in a comfortable cubicle eight hours a day with a decent salary. I want to hustle for my work - I’m talking about hustling in the sports sense, like in baseball, when a guy from the minors comes off the bench and gives a gritty performance…actually I’m not 100% sure on what gritty means in this context either, but you get the picture.
This blog will probably be changing too. I’m not sure how yet, but it will soon be accompanied by my professional portfolio and some other stuff. Maybe fluffy bunnies. Oh! Or chocolate-chip muffins. Tasty.
